Highlight of the past weekend::: Dinner Friday night w Ken. Even though we were unhappy w the meal it was a great night. (Really enjoying having babysitters now)

Cooking for the Freezer::: , Applesauce mini muffins, Almond butter brownies & cream of celery soup

Tip/trick/useful information::: When I boil chicken I season the water well w: S&P, parsley, bay leaf, & thyme. Once the broth is cooled, I freeze it. I usually have plenty of chicken broth in my freezer & never have to buy canned.

Highlight of the past weekend::: I did not leave the house all day Friday or Saturday. And Sunday I just left for a quick "Family Blessing" class. We are "dedicating" Evie to the Lord on November 10th!

The glossary gives topics so you can flip to a section of the book that you are needing to pray about! It is perfect for when you don't know how to pray or what to pray. Or when the situation is just to difficult to come up w the words on your own!

I started this early in the morning. But then my day took a turn when I had to take Mae to the doctor: strep & ear infection. So, as you can imagine this post was put on the back burner.  But it is still Monday, so here ya go! I am glad Monday is over & praying for a better Tuesday!

Looking around the house::: Sweet baby (who is 9mo old today) playing on the floor, her big sis is still sleeping. I've got bags to unpack & laundry to put away. Pretty much my house is in complete disarray since I left Ken to fend for himself for 5 days.....

Highlight of the past weekend::: The girls were not feeling well all weekend! Phew, it was rough! So my highlight comes before they got sick, on Friday Ken & I went on a lunch date.

My "project" of the week Month::: I have another garage sale on my calendar for mid- September. So I am planning on quickly going through the house, room by room for items to sell! :)

What I plan to cook for my freezer::: I am getting together w a friend on Wednesday to do some freezer cooking. We are preparing several meals w/ ground beef: Burritos, Swedish meatballs, Stuffed green peppers, Shepard's pie filling & possibly beef barley soup.

Highlight of the past weekend::: Getting caught up on things since being on vacation. Evie sleeping better. Our bike ride. Ah, it was a good weekend :)

My "project" of the week Month::: Still in Cora's room. It is impossible to keep her room neat & organized. Which is ok b/c that just means she is playing in there contently. She is still a little too young to pick up her room well & put things back in the correct places so we have an endless cycle going on. Ha!

What I plan to cook for my freezer::: I will be leaving Ken for a week while I spend some time in IN- he really appreciates it if I have a stocked freezer for him while I am away. So my plan is to make big dinners & freeze the leftovers & also make a batch of periogis!
Looking around the house::: Quite. I am up early. Both girls are still in bed, although I can hear Evie holler every now & again. I need to clean up from a lazy weekend.

Goodness Summer is busy! Am I right? We've spent more time in IN than Peoria in the month of July! My Pampered Chef business is off to a great start but adding busyness to my schedule. But we will never be too busy to enjoy summer::: Swimming, sprinkler, parks, VBS, etc!

I know it is Tuesday but I figured better to do a HHM today than not at all!

Highlight of the past weekend::: The few moments when it DIDN'T rain. We have had so much rain.- at least some everyday. I still haven't planted my garden bc it's just muck! Hopefully this week!

Looking forward to this week::: Tuesday starts our Mom's Life summer bible study. I love this low key study that meets at a park for a few weeks!

Monday - BBQ chicken pizza on the grill
Tuesday Asian chicken salad
Wednesday - Dinner w our small group. I am taking Ham & Swiss sliders!
Thursday - Beef enchiladas from the freezer

Today's To Do list:::

• Laundry
• Pay bills
• Continue decluttering
• Work in yard if its not too wet from the Thunderstorm overnight

My "project" of the week Month::: Our master bedroom. I cleaned my closet last week & decluttered. I would really like a make-up/hair table in my room. But not sure where to get one? We'll see-it might take awhile for me to find the right one!

What I plan to cook for my freezer::: I made Swedish meatballs on Sunday for the freezer

Looking around the house:::  I'm writing this later today than normal. So both girls are awake. Mae is watching cartoons & Evie is in my lap bc that's her favorite place to be ;) The thunder storms seemed to have passed.

Highlight of the past weekend::: Getting things done in the yard on Sunday

Looking forward to this week::: Thursday- getting pedis w friends

Cooking for my freezer::: I'm not sure- maybe more mini muffins for Cora or individual meals for Ken's lunches.

Looking around the house::: Quite. Chilly. Lots of laundry, which is the norm when we are gone all weekend.

Highlight of the past weekend::: We had a great weekend in Valpo.
Friday I went w mom & my mother in law to dinner & opera house for a Mother's Day event. Saturday Ken & I went to 157 to celebrate our anniversary :)

Looking forward to this week::: Warm weather returning! Walks, trips to the park & working in the yard!
